| Team Summaries | Bonney Lake Notes: Great game full of great lacrosse. The Battle of 410 did not disappoint! Sumner came out firing on all cylinders and jumped out to a 4-2 lead at halftime. Adjustments were made & the Bonney Lake defense and Goalie Braden Bonn held the Spartans scoreless in the second half, to beat the Sumner Spartans for the first time in program history. The Battle of 410 primarily celebrates the life of former Bonney Lake lacrosse player Camron Cozzi, and the Team Cozzi Foundation that continues to raise awareness for kids diagnosed with the rare brain cancer DIPG. At the conclusion of the game, both teams came together to exchange 'Cam Coins' and honored 2 players from both teams for the similar traits Cam had. Sportsmanship, performance, and honor for the game of lacrosse. It is always amazing to see both teams come together as in-district rivals to charish & celebrate the life of Cam, and other victims of DIPG. Special thank you to the Bonney Lake & Sumner parents for creating an amazing atmosphere and helping raise money for the Team Cozzi Foundation.
