Team Summaries	Wolverines Notes: Yeesh.. Strong pitching by the Hurricanes held the Wolverines to just two hits. Also three runners were thrown out on the bases, two on pickles between 3rd and home to end the last two innings. Highlights for the Wolverines were 4 strong innings by Luca. He had one tough inning, but he bounced back for some solid pitching after that for two more innings and ended with 5Ks. Luca's single in the first and Jake's single in the 4th which plated the Wolverines only run were all they could muster at the plate. Besides strong pitching by the Hurricanes, the top of their order was solid with Nolan, Vincent, and Evan combining for 6 hits and 5 RBIs. Also, solid catcher play all around by the Hurricanes. Wolverines pitch counts: Zev - 48 Luca - 71 Hurricanes pitch counts: Liam - 59 Michael - 22 Vincent - 51 Hurricanes Notes: Strong pitching and defense and some help from the Wolverines on the bases propelled the Canes to a Saturday night win under the lights at Ocean View. Liam M. was solid, throwing 3+ innings and giving up one run. Vincent D. struggled with control but found a way to throw two solid innings for the Canes. Nolan W. with a pair of hits and a pair of runs and hits from Gabe G. Sidney C-G. and the rest of the lineup with strong at bats rounded out the Canes best effort of the year-to-date.
