Emeralds Notes:
The Emeralds came out swinging and created a little havoc on the bases today. Strong innings from Parker and Michael held the Iron Birds scoreless until the 3rd and the Emeralds built an early lead. A little trouble finding the strike zone let the Iron Birds mount a come back and make it a close game again before big hits in the 5th by Dom, Isaiah and Luc put the game out of reach. Game ball to Ryan for battling on the mound and a great put out from center field to 3B that set the tone early.
