This one will sting for a bit but hats off to Bellevue. The Wolverines know how to play in crunch time as they win yet another overtime game. Lacrosse is a game of momentum and never more true than in this one.

Despite winning the opening faceoff, Issaquah tossed away the first possession and Bellevue carried momentum to a 2-0 lead. Issaquah battled right back though and a goal and an assist from Jake Gonzalez helped tie things up 2-2 at the end of the first.

Issaquah carried the momentum into the 2nd quarter and found an offensive rhythm. Two goals from Jake Lindahl highlighted a 4-0 quarter and Issaquah led 6-2 at half.

The 3rd quarter became a bit of a slop fest. Issaquah's attack lost the ball far too many times, but Issaquah's defense held. Bellevue managed one but Issaquah got it back fairly quickly making the most of a scramble play and an unsettled situation.

Unfortunately, the turnovers continued for Issaquah in the 4th quarter as Bellevue turned up the pressure defensively. Issaquah still led 7-3 with 8 minutes to play but Bellevue patiently chipped away and Issaquah couldn't handle the pressure. Though Issaquah did make a final defensive stand to get it into OT.

In OT, Issaquah won the first possession but Bellevue's Bauman made a big save to push the other way. Jordan Dondoyano made even a bigger safe at the other end to get the ball back for Issaquah a 2nd time. This time however, Micahel Medzegian came up with a huge takeaway for the Wolverines and on the ensuing possession Justin Angelel ended it rifling one top shelf from about 12 yards.
