| Team Summaries | Airhogs Notes: It was a tight game throughout. The Express led after 3 nothing in the top half of the first. The Airhogs tied it after one inning of play. The Express took the lead in the third inning 5 - 4 and the Airhogs tied it in the fourth inning. In the fifth inning the Express took the lead 6 - 5 and the Airhogs tied it in the bottom of the fifth, the Airhogs sent the winning run home in the bottom of the fifth and a good throw from an Express outfielder save the game for him as the Airhogs runner was thrown out at home plate. In extra innings the Express had three batters reach base by hits and took the lead 8 - 6. The Airhogs scored one run and had the tying run at third base, when the number 9 hitter hit a sharp ground ball to the SS to end the game. Express Notes: |
